How to Ride How
It's easy to use A2Express. First, choose your bus stop. Then, arrive a few minutes ahead of the scheduled time. When boarding the bus, have a pass, ticket or cash fare ready for the driver. Once you're on, sit back, enjoy the ride, and arrive relaxed!
Where It Goes Where
Buses pick up at one Park & Ride location in Chelsea: At Arctic Coliseum, 100 free parking spaces are available for Chelsea Express commuters. Please park along the north edge of the arena building, closest to Coliseum Drive. Buses pick up at the bus stop sign located between the parking area and the main entrance.
In Ann Arbor, buses pick up and drop off at these locations:
  • Downtown Ann Arbor - Huron St & Main St
  • Downtown Ann Arbor - Washington St between Fifth Av and Division St (AM drop-off only)
  • Downtown Ann Arbor - Huron St between Division St and Fifth Av (PM pick-up only)
  • UM Central Campus - Washington St between Thayer St and Fletcher St
  • UMHS Cardiovascular Center - Ann St & Observatory St
  • UMHS Mott Entrance - East Medical Center Dr & Hospital Dr
  • UMHS Main Entrance - East Medical Center Dr
  • UMHS Cancer Center - East Medical Center Dr
Buses stop at each location upon notice to the driver. If you're on the bus and you want to deboard, let the driver know a block in advance. If you're waiting for the bus and you'd like to board, please flag the driver as the bus approaches.
When It Runs When
Chelsea Express operates Monday through Friday excluding holidays (New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day). See TheRide website for additional information on service during holiday seasons.

The timetables show specific trip times: look in the columns to see when buses depart your starting point, then look right in the same row to see when each bus arrives.

Please note, not all bus stops are shown as timepoints. Use neighboring stops to estimate the times at your stop. For instance, if you're boarding at UMHS Main Entrance, use the time from the previous stop (UMHS Canter Center) to estimate the time at your stop.
