RideLines/Flyers

As needed, TheRide distributes RideLines brochures or informational flyers to passengers on our buses and at our transit centers and main office.

Bus Cards

News is often provided on bus cards posted inside the buses above the side windows.

Social Media

Want to stay connected with your commute and community? TheRide has formally launched its social media presence to further enhance the distribution of information you want when you want it. You can access TheRide (@CatchTheRide) through Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and Instagram; where we encourage you to make suggestions, ask questions, and be part of a growing community of connected transit riders and supporters in Washtenaw County and beyond.

MyRide Service Alerts

Subscribe to receive e-mail alerts or text messages on changes to bus service, detours/delays or board meeting information through MyRide.

Bus Stop Notices

Notices of detours or delays in service are posted at affected bus stops whenever possible.

Public Meetings

Board of Directors meetings are held at 6:30 pm on the third Thursday of every month at the main branch of the Ann Arbor District Library. Meetings are open to the public and include time for public comment. Open board committee meeting dates and times are posted on our events page.

Local Advisory Council meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month, except July. The committee advises TheRide on issues of importance to senior citizens and individuals with disabilities. Meetings are open to the public and include time for public comment.

Rider Forums are held quarterly, or as the need arises, to receive ongoing feedback from riders about fixed-route services. Normally held at the main branch of the Ann Arbor District Library in conjunction with the Board of Directors' meetings. Rider Forum dates and times are posted on our events page.

Public meetings are held when the level of proposed service or fare changes are such that they require public input.  Call 734.973.6500 in advance if you require special accommodation due to a disability.
