AATA to detour routes during U-M student move-in
ANN ARBOR, MI – Seven city bus routes will be on detour beginning on Tuesday,
August 26 and continuing through Friday, August 29, due to the traffic congestion
anticipated throughout student move-in at the University of Michigan, the Ann
Arbor Transportation Authority (AATA) has announced.
The routes to be detoured on Tuesday, August 26 are:
Route 4 Washtenaw to Ypsilanti and to Ann Arbor
Route 609 Dexter-University to University Hospital
14 Geddes-E. Stadium to University Hospital
18 Miller-University
The routes to be detoured on Wednesday through Friday, August 27-29 are:
Route 2 Plymouth from downtown Ann Arbor
Route 4 Washtenaw to Ypsilanti and to Ann Arbor
Route 5 Packard to and from Meijer (Carpenter Road)
Route 5 Packard to and from Ypsilanti
Route 609 Dexter-University to and from University Hospital
Route 14 Geddes-E. Stadium to and from University Hospital
Route 18 Miller-University to and from University Hospital
Route 36 Wolverine Tower Shuttle
AATA expects that delays will occur on all AATA routes as a result of move-in
activities and regrets any inconvenience our passengers may experience.
