Art Fair Shuttle
This four day, four-fair national event is one of the largest
art fair exhibits in the country. More than 1,250 artists come
to
downtown Ann Arbor for four days of wall-to-wall art. The 2007
fairs will be held July 18th through the 21st. Admission to the
fairs
is free.
Downtown streets are closed, and the AATA provides an easy way
to get there!
Board the Art Fair shuttles at either Briarwood Mall, located
at I-94 and State Street or Pioneer High School, located at Main
Street and West Stadium Blvd. (diagonally across from Michigan Stadium).
There are two shuttles from each boarding location: one goes to
the corner of State Street and South University; the other to Main
Street at William.
Shuttles run Wednesday - Friday from 9:00 am - 10:00 pm and
Saturday from 9:00 am - 7:00 pm.
AATA's Link circulator buses will operate around the perimeter of
the four fairs on a revised route from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.,
Wednesday through Friday, and from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday.
The Link is operating
free during the Art Fairs.
The cost for the shuttles is just $1.50 each way,
or $3.00 for a round trip. Children seven years of age and younger
ride free.
