Listed below you will find various options to pay for a one-way trip on each of our services. AATA has many convenient options to pay a fare including tokens, period passes and cash. AATA also offers reduced fares for individuals who qualify. Below there are links to find out if you are eligible for a reduced fare.

If you do not have exact change for your trip on our fixed route buses, ask the driver for a change card. Change cards are issued for amounts of $0.25 cents or more and are not redeemable for cash.

The fares listed below are effective beginning May 3, 2009.

A-Ride and Senior fares

Go!Pass	Personal I.D. required upon request. Available for individuals who work for participating downtown Ann Arbor employers. Contact the GetDowntown Coordinator at 214-0100 for more information.	Free
M-Card	Personal I.D. required upon request. Available for University of Michigan students, faculty and staff with an active yellow M-Card.	Free
Student Semester Pass	Student I.D. required upon request. Available for Ann Arbor Public High School Students who have a 7th hour class. Contact the AAPS Transportation Dept. at 994-2330 for more information.	Free
WCC Semester Pass	WCC student or staff I.D. must be presented when boarding bus. Available for eligible Washtenaw Community College students and staff. Contact WCC Cashier’s office at 734-973-3485 for eligibility information and to purchase a pass.	$10.00

Fares on the LINK service are paid for through a partnership with the Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authority, the University of Michigan and AATA.

SENIOR RIDE is a service of AATA that provides group trips for seniors to grocery stores from some senior citizen housing complexes. Click here for more information or call 973-6500.
