Fixed-Route Services for Seniors Ages 60-64
Individuals ages 60 – 64 can travel for a reduced fare on all AATA fixed-route
service with an AATA issued Fare Deal Card. The fare for seniors with a Fare
Deal Card is only $.50. To obtain a Fare Deal Card, go to AATA’s main
office located at 2700 S. Industrial Highway, Ann Arbor. Bring with you proof
of your age. A 30-Day Senior-Value Pass is also available for seniors ages
60 – 64 who board with a Fare Deal Card. The 30 Day Senior-Value Pass
is valid for unlimited rides on AATA’s fixed-route service for 30 days
from the first day of use. Fixed Route Services for Seniors Ages 65 Years and Older (Good As Gold)
Individuals ages 65 years and older can travel for a reduced fare on all AATA
fixed-route service with an AATA Senior Card. The fare for seniors with a
Senior Card is only $.25. To obtain a Senior Card, go to AATA’s main
office located at 2700 S. Industrial Highway, Ann Arbor. Bring with you proof
of your age. A 30 Day Senior-Liberty Pass is also available for seniors who
board the bus with a Senior Card. The 30-Day Senior-Liberty Pass is only
$10.00.
Senior Ride
AATA provides group trips for seniors to grocery stores from some senior citizen housing complexes. The fare for Senior Ride is $.50.

Senior Out & About Program
Out & About is a free travel training program that allows seniors to learn how to
use the AATA fixed-route bus system, either by themselves or with one or more friends.
The training is designed to give seniors the opportunity and increased comfort level
to use the bus system to take trips to local attractions such as museums and movie
theaters, or get out into the community for lunch, a cup of tea or coffee with

Door-to-Door Services:
A-Ride
Individuals with an AATA Senior Card can take a shared-ride taxi trip anywhere
within the city limits of Ann Arbor for a reduced fare. An advance reservation
trip (reserved at least one day in advance of the trip) costs only $2.00.
A Same-Day trip (trip scheduled on the same day of the service) is only $3.00.
You must show your Senior Card to be eligible for these reduced fares.
NightRide
Individuals with an AATA Senior Card can take a late-night, shared-ride taxi
trip within the city limits of Ann Arbor for a reduced fare. The fare for
individuals with an AATA Senior card for a Night Ride trip is only $2.50.
You must show your Senior Card to be eligible for this reduced fare.
Holiday Ride
Individuals with an AATA Senior Card can take a shared-ride taxi trip within
the city limits of Ann Arbor for a reduced fare on major holidays when AATA
fixed-route service does not operate. The fare for individuals with an AATA
Senior card for a Holiday Ride trip is only $2.50. You must show your Senior
Card to be eligible for this reduced fare.
