About AATA RideShare

Welcome to Ann Arbor Transportation Authority RideShare, the Washtenaw County area resource center for commuters and businesses. The AATA RideShare program is a FREE, publicly funded commuter service designed to inform people about less expensive and environmentally friendly commuting alternatives. These include carpooling, vanpooling, public transit, bicycling, and telecommuting. We would like to give you the information to make wise commuting choices -- choices that reduce traffic congestion, pollution, parking demand, commute stress -- and save you money.

Everyone faces a commute that's just a bit different. From what time they leave home in the morning to the specific route they take, each commuter must find customized travel solutions to meet their individual needs. The more choices that are available, the more opportunities the commuter has to create a personalized commute solution.

AATA RideShare has information that can help you make the best possible commuting choice for YOU! Click on the buttons at the left of the page to learn more about your transportation options or to apply for FREE RideShare matching.

AATA RideShare is one of twelve local RideShare offices funded by the Michigan Department of Transportation through Michigan Rideshare and partners with the MichiVan vanpool program for those interested in vanpooling.
