YPSILANTI, MI – The Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide) and the Ypsilanti District Library (YDL) are partnering this summer to provide Free Ride Weekends during the YDL Summer Challenge!
Every Saturday and Sunday from June 11 to August 28, library cardholders can ride any of TheRide local fixed-route buses for free. All you need to do is show the driver your valid library card when boarding the bus.
While riding, look for the YDL’s code on Summer Challenge ads inside the bus. The Summer Challenge includes fun incentives, friendly competitions, and prizes to keep kids—and adults—reading and learning all summer long. Use the code on the bus to win the “Ride TheRide” badge! Each badge earns you a chance at a prize basket of your choice, which include great experiences and cool stuff donated by local businesses.
The Summer Challenge Kickoffs on June 11, so you can ride TheRide to the library for games, snacks, and to sign up for the Challenge.
