The Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (AAATA/TheRide) practices fair and open competitive bidding procedures to procure goods and services. We optimize the investment of taxpayer dollars by selecting vendors that give us the best value – price and other factors considered.
Process for Obtaining Bids:
TheRide uses OpenGov and BidNet to post solicitations. These are web-based electronic bidding and vendor management systems. Below are the bids and proposals currently being solicited. Interested parties can view and bid on solicitations by doing the following:
- Register at both OpenGov and BidNet. Registering for an account is free.
- Follow updates to existing solicitations by finding the solicitation and using the "Follow" feature. Following a solicitation will allow interested parties to receive amendments and addenda automatically.
- Vendors can view, download, and respond electronically to solicitations.
