FlexRide is a shared shuttle service that helps riders connect to fixed-route bus stops and other hard-to-reach destinations. FlexRide provides on-demand, curb-to-curb transportation in select locations of the greater Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti area. FlexRide also offers accessible vehicles.
TheRide partners with Via to provide services for FlexRide, with greater booking capacity!
FlexRide-East serves select areas of Ypsilanti Township and provides a direct connection to the Ypsilanti Transit Center. See the FlexRide-East service area map below:
FlexRide-West serves Pittsfield Township. Direct connections to Meijer–Ann Arbor Saline Rd. and Meijer Carpenter Rd. are available. See the FlexRide-West service area map below:
FlexRide provides curb-to-curb service during late-night hours and on major holidays when regular fixed-route service is not available.
FlexRide service is available on a first-come, first-served basis. FlexRide offers next-day and same-day reservations.
Reservations are accepted one hour before FlexRide service begins until an hour before service ends in each area. The hours of operation in each service area are listed below.
Monday - Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

If you need to cancel a reservation, please call us as soon as possible at 734-794-0377. Cancellations must be made no later than 30 minutes before your scheduled pick-up time on the day of your trip.
Missed trips are considered No-Shows. You will be considered a No-Show if you cancel your trip 30 minutes or less from its scheduled arrival time or if you fail to board your ride within 5 minutes of its arrival.
The standard rate for a regular one-way fare is $1.
We ask that riders who are paying in cash bring exact change. Riders who book through the Flexride app must pay with a major credit card. Online payments are non-refundable. Reduced fares are available for FlexRide service. Learn more about reduced fare cards.
