ANN ARBOR, MI – The Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide) is making service adjustments beginning Sunday, August 24, 2025. These service changes are to improve on-time performance and rider experience.
The service updates starting Sunday, August 24 are:
Route 4: Washtenaw - Local
- Seasonal changes to restore fall/winter schedule.
- Adjust multiple timepoints.
- New 3:43pm inbound trip added to Blake Transit Center.
Route 22: Pontiac – Dhu Varren
- Multiple timepoint adjustments for weekday schedules.
Route 23: Plymouth
- New 9:07am inbound trip added to Blake Transit Center to address overcrowding issues.
- Adjust multiple timepoints.
Remove evening service to Plymouth Rd Park & Ride lot from inbound trips to improve on-time performance.
Route 28: Pauline
- Adjust multiple timepoints.
- Adjust departure frequencies at Blake Transit Center to every 20 minutes during rush hours to improve rider experience.
Route 30: Jackson Rd
- Adjust multiple timepoints.
Route 32: Miller - Maple
- Adjust routing to reverse loop on south end of route to eliminate a sharp and complicated right turn from Stadium onto Pauline.
- Adjust multiple timepoints.
Route 44: Ecorse - Tyler
- Adjust routing to reverse loop on Harris Rd, Russell St, and Ford Blvd. to help with on-time performance and create opportunities for future bus stop amenities.
- Multiple timepoint adjustments.
Route 62: U-M - State
- Seasonal changes to restore fall/winter schedule.
Route 66: Carpenter - Huron Pkwy
- New 7:07am northbound trip to Green Rd Park & Ride Lot to address overcrowding.
- New 2:58pm southbound trip to Meijer to address overcrowding.
Route 104: Washtenaw Express
- New stops at Washtenaw Ave and Sheridan Dr in both directions.
- Multiple timepoint adjustments.
TheRide’s route information is available in many formats. RideGuides outline helpful riding information, along with service maps and route schedules and are available on buses, at our transit centers, and at select community locations in our service area. In addition, TheRide’s Rider Tools allow customers to stay up to date on estimated arrival times, detours, and other service-related alerts along a route or at a specific bus stop. Each bus stop also has a sign regarding TheRide’s Text My Bus feature, which allows riders to text to find out when their bus will arrive at their stop. In addition, customers can call TheRide’s route information line at 734-996-0400 for assistance on any service questions they may have.
