ANN ARBOR, MI – The Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide) is making minor routing adjustments to a few routes beginning Sunday, January 28, 2024. These adjustments are to improve reliability and on-time performance of our routes.

The service updates that begin Sunday, January 28, include revisions to routes 22, 24, and 66. The service updates are:

Route 22: Pontiac–Dhu Varren
To Pierpont Commons

  • Change routing from Blake Transit Center to north on Fourth Ave. to Liberty St. to Division St. to resume current routing.

Route 24: Eisenhower–Golfside

  • Schedules will include a timepoint for the 'Northbrook & Oakbrook' bus stop.

Route 66: Carpenter–Huron Pkwy

  • All trips will pull into VA Hospital on weekdays before 7:00pm only. Buses will not pull into the VA after 7pm and on Saturdays.

TheRide’s route information is available in many formats. RideGuides that outline helpful riding information, along with service maps and route schedules are available on buses at our transit centers, and at select community locations in our service area. In addition, TheRide’s Rider Tools allow customers to stay up to date on estimated arrival times, detours and other service-related alerts along a route or at a specific bus stop. Each bus stop also has a sign regarding TheRide’s Text My Bus feature, which allows riders to text to find out when their bus will arrive at their stop. In addition, customers can call TheRide’s route information line at 734-996-0400 for assistance on any service questions they may have.
