Starting May 3, the DDA, in partnership with TheRide and the City of Ann Arbor, will begin a construction project on 4th Ave. to improve pedestrian and transit amenities between William and Liberty Streets. Due to the significant construction, 4th Ave. will be completely closed, and the Blake Transit Center will be closed to the public.

Sales end at the Blake Transit Center on April 25 to prepare for the upcoming temporary relocation to 5th Ave. and Washington St. Fares can be purchased at TheRide main office, YTC, and via EZFare mobile ticketing.

There is no indoor waiting at the temporary sales location, and no public restrooms. There are throne restrooms available throughout the area.
Route 29 will be temporarily suspended during the 4th Ave. construction. TheRide will operate a more frequent Route 26 schedule to accommodate this change. Update 4 (4/16/26):
As of April 25, sales will end at the Blake Transit Center to prepare for the upcoming relocation. Fare can instead be purchased at the AAATA Main Office, YTC, or through EZFare. Starting May 3, a temporary sales location will be available at 314 E. Washington St.
